The scientific library functionality within the waters_connect platform offers a streamlined approach to the management of LC-MS data sets and the metadata associated with them. Users can build and curate their own scientific libraries or download Waters approved libraries from Waters Marketplace. With libraries available across a range of applications, they can contain detection results such as retention time measurements, precursor and fragment ion information and collision cross section (CCS) values. The level of detail within the libraries helps minimize false positives and improves search accuracy; and as many of the libraries are curated alongside our collaborators, and built with authentic standards, users can confidently glean knowledge and information on their sample sets.
