Control the Waters Fraction Collector III through an instrument interface using Empower Software. The interface integrates seamlessly with existing Empower control components once the instrument control software (ICS) is loaded. The collector control software lets you easily configure collection vessels and program your collection routines. Receive real-time feedback from the fraction collector and obtain information on the current state of the collection process along with the location of the collected fractions for immediate answers.

With the user-friendly collection control interface, you can easily perform a variety of collection techniques:

  • Collect everything with time slicing
  • Collect specific segments of the run on a time basis
  • Collect the eluent between triggered fractions
  • Collect using detector-triggers based on threshold, slope, or slope and threshold

When large-volume samples require repetitive injections and collecting fractions into the same container, simply check a single box in the collection protocol to perform this task. For low-flow operations, you can choose to avoid opening and closing the diverter valve between consecutive fractions, eliminating the risk of diverting valuable segments of the sample to waste.

Fraction collection information is embedded into Empower Software datasets and is available in a comprehensive report. You can view the report in an electronic format and save it to the database for follow up retrieval as needed.
